Georg (DL4SVA) arrived at OH73ELK today, just as Finland's forests are glowing with golden autumn colours. He is preparing to take part in the Worked All Germany (WAG) Contest using our callsign OG7Z. We wish him great propagation and many QSOs!
From now on Ric DL2VFR is taking care of the QSL-Service for OH73ELK and OG7Z using OQRS on Club Log (bureau & direct). TNX, Ric! The ELK log is also uploaded to LoTW and QRZ. Please do not send QSL via bureau!
We are pleased to announce: if you are planning to come with a large HAM group, there is an additional wooden cottage available. It is similar to ELK and is located on our island, 300 meters away. Please contact us for more information.
"Amateur radio is fun and when you reach first place in the contest with OH73ELK you are even happier" - Georg DL4SVA made the first place in Finland from the ELK Shack in CQ WPX RTTY Contest. And now he is preparing for IARU Contest 2025 also from ELK
