Instructions on arrival

On arrival, please read the “INSTRUCTIONS OF USING THE HOUSE AND THE HAM SHACK”. You will find them at the main electrical distribution panel opposite to the entrance of the house.

Equipment

Fridge, Freezer, WiFi, SmartTV, Sewage tank monitor,WiFi Internet etc.

Using the Radio Shack at OH73ELK

The Shack is the heart of the Cottage OH73ELK. Please take great care of its work.

House heating

The heating of the house with electric heaters is the largest part of the operating costs of the house. Please read carefully this part of instruction 

Bed sheets, towels and other private accessories

Pillows and blankets are upstairs. Linen sheets, pillow covers and towels are a matter of agreement.

Waste management

In Finland there are strict rules about household waste sorting and utilization.

Ventilation

Please read about windows opening during your staying and upon departure

Fireplace

The fireplace is made of a special stone that accumulates heat for a long time. Please note that this fireplace serves mainly for aesthetic purposes, not heating.

Sauna

Do not heat the sauna above 90 degrees - the Finns consider this temperature more than sufficient for a healing effect.

Using the grill

Cooking in the grill is sure to decorate your stay at OH73ELK. Please handle the grill and all accessories carefully. When you are ready for this - welcome to the grill and garden house.

Using the boat and SUP board

Please use the boat only if you have relevant experience!

Cleaning

Please clean the house.

Checklist before departure

Please go through the house with this checklist. Check the following items, put ticks, your Call, take a picture of the signed checklist and send it to Alex please via any communication channel before you leave the Cottage.
